“Just a short note to say how much we enjoyed our stay in The Royal Sportsman over our anniversary day,
It is nearly 20 years since we last stayed at the hotel. Then, we stayed in one of the Garden rooms - well named as one of the climbing plants outside was growing up inside the bedroom. Additionally, our bed was one of the three legged variety, the fourth being a pile of books. It was a shame as we had stayed there twice before in the 1980's and had enjoyed ourselves.

The transformation between 1990 and now is incredible. The room was lovely and comfy, the food was superlative and we would be grateful if you would thank Kiva and Daniel on our behalf for their great, friendly service in the restaurant.

We have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to friends and relations alike.
